Terms and Conditions of Service
Welcome to La Oveja Invita (LOI). The following Terms and Conditions govern the use of our web platform, the contracting of our design services, and the operation of our digital invitations.
By purchasing any of our plans, the client agrees to comply with and be bound by these clauses.
1. SERVICE DEFINITIONS AND DELIVERY FORMATS
LOI is a platform dedicated to the design, development, and distribution of digital invitations and web tools for events and businesses. Each service is developed based on the contracted plan (Semilla, Siembra, Riego, Cosecha, or Fruto), modality, and format, accepting the descriptions of each, with the option to enhance the experience by adding premium add-ons / upgrades.
PLANS
Seed Plan: This essential package includes a main featured photo, event names and date, custom story or message, countdown timer, parents / family section, interactive map locations, dress code section, event schedule, gift registry details, direct RSVP confirmation, LOI footer credit, background music, and basic animations/effects. Valid for 1 to 25 guests. Delivered under a general access URL (e.g., [laovejainvita.com/your-event](https://laovejainvita.com/your-event)), active for up to 1 month after the event date, and includes up to 3 rounds of structural or design revisions.
Sowing Plan: Includes a main featured photo, event names and date, custom story or message, photo gallery (up to 2 photos), countdown timer, parents / family section, interactive map locations, sections for dress code, accommodations, weather, and schedule, gift registry details, direct RSVP confirmation, LOI footer credit, background music, and basic animations/effects. Valid for 1 to 50 guests. Delivered under a general access URL (e.g., [laovejainvita.com/your-event](https://laovejainvita.com/your-event)), active for up to 1 month after the event date, and includes up to 3 rounds of structural or design revisions.
Watering Plan: This intermediate package includes a main featured photo, event names and date, custom story or message, photo gallery (up to 4 photos), countdown timer, parents / family section, godparents / wedding party, interactive map locations, sections for dress code, accommodations, weather, and schedule, gift registry details, dietary restriction / allergy form, guestbook message box, direct RSVP confirmation, LOI footer credit, background music, and basic animations/effects. Valid for 1 to 50 guests. Delivered under a general access URL (e.g., [laovejainvita.com/your-event](https://laovejainvita.com/your-event)), active for up to 6 months after the event date, and includes up to 5 rounds of structural or design revisions.
Harvest Plan: This advanced package includes a gala cover screen to open the invitation, main featured photo, event names and date, custom story or message, photo gallery (up to 4 photos), countdown timer, parents / family section, godparents / wedding party, interactive map locations, sections for dress code, accommodations, transportation, local recommendations, weather, and schedule, gift registry details, Spotify playlist integration, dietary restriction / allergy form, guestbook message box, direct RSVP confirmation, Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs), background music, and advanced animations/effects. Valid for 1 to 75 guests. Delivered under an exclusive custom domain URL (e.g., andrea-and-samuel-wedding.com), active for up to 1 year from contract date, and includes up to 5 rounds of structural or design revisions.
Fruit Plan: Our ultimate experience package includes a gala cover screen to open the invitation, navigation menu, main featured photo, event names and date, custom story or message, photo gallery (up to 6 photos), countdown timer, parents / family section, godparents / wedding party, interactive map locations, sections for dress code, accommodations, transportation, local recommendations, weather, and schedule, gift registry details, Spotify playlist integration, song request field, dietary restriction / allergy form, guestbook message box, direct RSVP confirmation, automated RSVP reminder days prior to the event, FAQs, closing photo section, custom monogram design, background music, and advanced animations/effects. Valid for 1 to 100 guests. Delivered under an exclusive custom domain URL (e.g., abraham-and-sara-wedding.com), active for up to 1 year from contract date, and includes up to 10 rounds of structural or design revisions.
Direct RSVP Confirmation (WhatsApp / Email): All plans include a core RSVP confirmation system consisting of a basic form linked to interactive “Attending” and “Not Attending” buttons. Upon clicking, the system automatically redirects the guest to send a pre-formatted direct message to the WhatsApp number or email address provided by the client. LOI does not store this data nor assume responsibility for technical issues on the destination third-party app.
MODES
The client chooses one of three story development modalities:
• Pre-designed: Select a pre-established design by providing text and images. Structural, typographic, or color changes are not permitted.
• Partial Customization: Uses a master template structure adapted with the event’s specific texts, photos, typography, color palette, and music identity.
• Full Customization: A bespoke design and layout created from scratch with an exclusive visual concept.
FORMATS
The client chooses the ideal viewing format:
• Web Invitation: A dynamic, responsive website temporarily hosted on our servers.
• Interactive PDF: A digital document with active links and functional buttons.
• Static Image: A high-resolution fixed graphic asset optimized for quick messaging send-outs.
• Video & Animation: Multimedia assets featuring transitions and animated motion elements.
EXPERIENCE UPGRADES
Clients can enhance their base plan with the following premium add-ons:
• Control RSVP (Centralized Database): Closed or open selection form that stores guest responses directly in a centralized database. LOI commits to delivering the final consolidated attendance list in the agreed-upon format at the close of the RSVP window.
• Digital RSVP (QR Access Pass): Advanced system issuing unique digital access passes with individual QR codes for each guest or family group, allowing manual check-in validation at the venue entrance.
• Landing RSVP (Customized QR Pass): Advanced QR code system where check-in validation opens within a custom microsite/screen tailored to the visual identity of the event.
• Monogram: Exclusive custom design integrating the initials of the couple or individual with refined aesthetics for application across event stationery, signage, or reception decor.
• “Say Yes” Proposals: Digital invitation pieces designed to formally ask bridesmaids, groomsmen, honor guests, or page boys to join the wedding party.
• Event Menu Section: A dedicated web section detailing the full culinary presentation (appetizers, main courses, desserts, and late-night snacks).
• Digital Menu QR: Web page, interactive PDF, or static graphic presenting food, beverage, or service offerings for an event or business, accessible via URL, file download, or QR code scan.
• Bilingual Version: Includes the precise translation, layout duplication, and reflowing of all copy blocks to prevent visual overflowing, as well as an interactive language switcher button.

PDF Version: High-quality downloadable PDF adaptation of the web design, ideal for printing or keepsake archiving.
• Save the Date: Early strategic piece notifying guests of the upcoming event date so they can reserve their calendars prior to formal invitations.
• Web Photo Album: A post-event digital gallery where the host or LOI uploads official photos for guest downloading, or an interactive space where guests upload their own snapshots.
• Additional Guests: Plans include a baseline quota of personalized guest names. Extra personalized URL versions carry an additional fee per guest name.
• Branding: Visual identity manual and guidelines ensuring all physical and digital event touchpoints maintain cohesive aesthetics.
2. PURCHASING PROCESS
Upon receiving a request with your chosen plan, modality, or add-ons, work begins through a 4-phase workflow:
• Review: We validate your event details to confirm schedule availability within 2 business hours.
• Confirmation: If approved, you receive a notification via WhatsApp containing custom payment access links.
• Activation: Upon receiving payment, your order activates and an exclusive project intake form is dispatched to gather your copy, photos, and event logistics.
• Delivery: You receive your digital invitation live and ready to share, backed by active hosting and ongoing technical support.
3. CONTENT RESPONSIBILITY
LOI acts strictly as a designer and technical facilitator. The client remains solely responsible for the accuracy of event details, spelling, grammar, dates, mapping links, and gift registry credentials, as well as for holding proper usage rights for all submitted copy, photographs, graphics, or music tracks.
4. DELIVERY TIMELINES, WORKFLOW, AND ONLINE HOSTING
Delivery countdowns begin once all complete, finalized text, imagery, and necessary credentials are submitted by the client.
• Static Image: 1 to 2 business days.
• Interactive PDF: 2 to 4 business days.
• Video & Animation: 3 to 5 business days, varying by content length.
• Template: Initial functional prototype delivered within 1 to 2 business days.
• Semi-custom: 2 to 4 business days.
• Custom design: Bespoke layout and coding in 5 to 10 business days.
• Memorials: Handled with priority turnaround. Static, PDF, video, and animation formats delivered within 3 to 12 business hours. Custom web developments delivered within 12 to 48 business hours upon media receipt.
• RSVP Confirmation Add-ons: Integration requires 2 to 4 additional business days beyond the base product timeframe, commencing once the client submits a clean, properly structured guest spreadsheet.
• Monogram: 1 to 2 additional business days.
• “Say Yes” Proposals: 2 to 3 additional business days.
• Save the Date: 1 to 2 additional business days.
• Event Menu Section: 1 to 2 additional business days following full recipe/menu submission.
• Digital Menu QR: 2 to 4 business days depending on catalog volume.
• Bilingual Version (Languages): Requires 3 to 5 additional business days beyond base product delivery due to manual translation, element duplication, and structural text adjustments. Involves an additional 30% fee per added language. Standard plan rates cover single-language development.
• PDF Version: 2 to 3 business days following final client approval of the primary web invitation layout.
• Web Photo Album: Layout and functional setup within 5 to 10 business days.
Additional Guests: Custom name-tagging requires 1 to 3 business days depending on volume.
Branding: Visual identity deliverables generated within 5 to 10 business days.
Recommended Lead Time: To ensure seamless execution, we recommend placing orders at least one month (30 days) prior to your planned guest send-out date.
Advance Purchases (Deferred Activation): Clients may lock in current pricing by contracting in advance and submitting event copy or activating design workflows weeks or months later, subject to schedule availability.
Revision Rounds: Each package includes a designated number of revision rounds. Beyond these limits, minor text or image updates carry no extra fees during active hosting; only complex structural changes incur fees. Revision requests are fulfilled within 24 business hours. LOI bears no responsibility for errors left unreported during review stages.
Hosting Term: Web invitations and digital menus remain active on our servers for the duration specified in your contracted plan, after which they automatically deactivate.
Rush Design Service: Projects requiring expedited turnarounds ahead of standard plan timelines carry a 40% surcharge on total contract value, contingent on schedule availability and written approval.
Digital Menu Maintenance: Digital Menu contracts include initial setup and one round of 5 structural edits. Subsequent pricing, dish, or graphic alterations after final sign-off start from $100 MXN, depending on scope.
5. RIGHT OF ADMISSION AND COMPATIBILITY
LOI reserves all rights to decline, accept, or proceed with projects based on:
Schedule Capacity: Production intake is strictly regulated to maintain technical standards and client service quality.
Editorial Line and Brand Values: We reserve the right to decline event themes or concepts that conflict with our brand philosophy, purpose, or core values.
Inappropriate or Harmful Content: Under no circumstances will we accept projects promoting hate speech, degrading language, explicit adult content, or violations of human dignity.
6. SERVICE EXCLUSIONS
LOI systems do not include seating chart physical management software or automated door-ticket scanner hardware (live event door check-in apps), unless explicitly quoted and contracted as custom software development.
7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND COPYRIGHT
All intellectual property rights governing design layouts, code architecture, UI patterns, custom animations, and technical assets belong exclusively to La Oveja Invita.
Clients receive a non-exclusive, temporary usage license for the digital distribution of their invitation. Resale, duplication, commercial exploitation, or unauthorized code reuse for third-party events is prohibited. A discreet design credit linking to LOI appears at the footer of web invitations.
(Intellectual property exclusions apply to fully custom-coded bespoke projects).
8. PAYMENT, DISCOUNT, INVOICING, CANCELLATIONS, AND REFUNDS
Accepted Payment Methods: Bank transfers (SPEI), as well as digital payment processing via Mercado Pago, PayPal, and Stripe.
Instant Payment Discount: If full payment is completed within one (1) hour of receiving your invoice, quote, or custom payment links, an automatic 7% discount will be applied to the total cost of your service.
Processing Fees: Published prices reflect net value for direct bank transfers. Payments processed via credit cards, debit cards, or third-party digital gateways may incur platform transaction fees, itemized during checkout.
Invoicing: Listed prices are net amounts and already include all applicable taxes (including VAT/IVA). If a formal tax invoice is required, it will be issued at no extra cost upon request. Invoicing requests must be submitted within the same calendar month in which the payment was made.
Refund Policy: Clients may request a 100% refund within 24 hours of payment (minus third-party processing fees). Due to the custom nature of digital design, no refunds or returns will be issued once project work has commenced, though event date updates remain supported.
9. SERVER AVAILABILITY AND TECHNICAL SUPPORT
LOI operates on high-availability server infrastructure; however, we assume no liability for global internet outages, downtime on third-party messaging networks (such as WhatsApp or social media platforms when sharing links), or local connectivity issues on client or guest devices.
